A Note From Our Affiliates Director

This month I will be sharing some information about well, frankly our favorite station, New Dimensions Internet Radio, NDIR. We began broadcasting NDIR this past January. If you listened to each of the six New Dimensions programs we broadcast every week since we began, then you would have heard 138 different New Dimensions programs so far this year. You would have heard every new program released this year, plus five others from our archive of past programs.
In June we passed the 10,000-hour listening mark, which means, since we began broadcasting, listeners have listened to more than 10,000 hours of NDIR programming. Understandably most of our listeners are from the United States, but we have listeners from all over the world. In the past 30 days we have had substantial numbers of hours logged by folks from Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, El Salvador and the Czech Republic. It’s amazing to realize how far "the ripple in the pond" goes.
We are also very pleased to report that in June for the first time NDIR was ranked in the top ten of most listened to talk radio stations hosted by live365 our internet host. We have been in the top 20 for some weeks, but to move into the next tier was very exciting for us. This new enture, we call New Dimensions Internet Radio is clearly off and running and we thank all of you who have taken the time to listen on-line and hope you’re telling your others about us.
In case you haven’t listened yet, we invite you to give it a try. It couldn’t be easier. Here’s how you do it. Go to our web site newdimensions.org and click on the words "Listen to NDIR now" at the top of the page. That opens a pop-up window that launches the NDIR player. If you use a Windows based computer, the first time you click us on, you’ll probably be asked to download the free live365 player. After you do that, from then on when the NDIR player opens, the current program will start playing with just one click. If you use an Apple computer two things will happen when you click on the "Listen Now" link, first a download window will open, then the Itunes program will open, then you’ll hear the station.
