SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO SEARCH THE
NEW DIMENSIONS ARCHIVE OF PROGRAMS
AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOADING ON MP3
We have more than 800 hours in our archive and are adding new ones every month. We've mapped out some suggestions as to how you might search this extensive library of wisdom.
DOWNLOADING MP3
You can download them for only $1.99 per program (CA sales tax where applicable). Then you can either burn your own CD; put it in your iPod or some other Digital device; or just listen on your computer.
SEARCH SUGGESTIONS
You can search our archive by subject matter, guest name (you can type in the last name only if you'd like), or program number. They will come up in batches of 25. Use the search box that appears on most pages on the website under the logo.
HOW TO REVIEW ENTIRE ARCHIVE BY PROGRAM NUMBER
One way to get the entire archive to come up is to type in MP3 in the search box. The program titles will come up by program number--the latest ones first (for the most part). You then click on any title you like, and it will take you to the full description and the "Buy Now" button.
HOW TO LOOK UP PAST TWO YEARS OF PROGRAM SCHEDULE
Another way to look up programs is to open up any of our past newsletters. Go to the home page. On the left side there is a list of options, one of which is Newsletter/Articles. Click on it and you will go to a list of 2006, 2007, and 2008 e-newsletters. They each contain our program schedule for that month with the program title, guest name, program number, topics discussed and, in many cases, include the full descriptions. If there is no "live" link on the program title, then jot down any program numbers from those that interest you, go back to the listing of Newsletters, and type the program number into the search box (one at a time). Note: do not use the # sign in the program number. If you do you'll get a "sorry your search results in zero results." When your search is successful, click on the program title that comes up to get to the full program description and the "Buy Now" button.
LOOK UP PROGRAMS BY SUBJECT
Another way to search our archive is to search by subject. We have many webwords that are embedded in each program search. Here are a few suggestions of major categories as follows: animals, art, Buddhism, business, community, creativity, death, dying, dream, ecology, nature, environment, education, global culture, health, healing, history, indigenous, intuition, psychic, media, meditation, men's studies, money, economics, music, mythology, parapsychology, parenting, peace, nonviolence, personal transformation, philosophy, psychology, relationship, religion, science, self help, social change, politics, spirit guides, spirituality, technology, travel, women's studies, work, livelihood, writing.
There are thousands of other words you can use to look up specific programs, for example: Bible, happiness, intention, physics, dialogue, circle, or any word you can think of. If it is included in our list, the program will show up in the search.
NOTES ABOUT LISTENING ON-LINE:
New Dimensions "flagship" program series:
Our flagship program "New Dimensions" is available for FREE streaming on our website for listening for two weeks. We list the current program on the home page. For the previous week's program you'll have to search by program number or guest name. You can find the schedule by going to the Newsletters and click on current month. Note our broadcast week begins on Wednesday. After that you will have to pay $1.99 to download it.
NEW DIMENSIONS CAFÉ PROGRAM SERIES:
In addition to our "flagship" program, we have a second program series that can be heard on-line, NEW DIMENSIONS CAFÉ. You can listen on-demand or download FREE any of our NEW DIMENSIONS CAFÉ podcasts. Or you can subscribe to them and they will come via iTunes.
They are free. The advantage of subscribing to them as a podcast is that you will be receiving the new ones regularly without having to go to our website and check on the new ones that have been posted.
